Perkembangan Karakter Tokoh Utama Dalam Novel Yakuza Na Tsuki Karya Shoko
Tendo.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan karakter tokoh utama dalam novel Yakuza Na Tsuki karya Shoko Tendo, serta mengungkapkan pengaruh latar terhadap perkembangan karakter tokoh utama dalam novel Yakuza Na Tsuki karya Shoko Tendo
Pendekatan struktural digunakan sebagai alat analisis dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi dalam novel Yakuza Na Tsuki, yaitu unsur penokohan, serta hubungannya dengan faktor lain yaitu latar.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakter tokoh utama yaitu Shoko dalam novel ini sangat bervariasi yaitu, tegar, penyayang, empatik, berani, keras kepala, penurut, rela berkorban dan tidak suka mengeluh. Latar dalam novel ini berkaitan erat dengan perkembangan karakter tokoh utama yaitu Shoko. Perjalanan hidup yang dialami Shoko memberikan banyak pengaruh dalam karakternya. Shoko bisa menjadi mandiri dan dewasa serta mencapai kebebasaannya dalam meraih kesuksesan.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka disarankan agar setelah membaca novel Yakuza Moon karya Shoko Tendo, kita bisa memetik hikmah pentingnya sebuah keluarga, terutama dalam membangun komunikasi yang baik. Serta untuk para remaja, agar selalu berhati-hati dalam menentukan sikap serta berhati-hati dalam pergaulan dengan teman-teman, dan jangan pernah mengabaikan keberadaan keluarga dalam kehidupan.
Abstract

Influence of Setting Towards The Development of Main Figure’s Character in The
Novel “Yakuza Na Tsuki” by Shoko Tendo.
This research
aims to describe the main figure’s character in the novel “Yakuza Na Tsuki” by
Shoko Tendo and reveal the influence of setting towards the development of main
figure’s character in the novel “Yakuza Na Tsuki” by Shoko Tendo.
This research
uses structural approach as analytical tool in solving the problems around the
story in the novel “Yakuza Na Tsuki”, such as characterization element, and its
relation to another factor, namely setting.
The result of
this research indicated that the main figure in the novel, Shoko, had various
character, such as rigid, compassionate, emphatic, brave, stubborn, obedient,
self-sacrificing, and never be dissatisfied about something. The setting of
this novel is closely related to the development of the main figure’s
character, Shoko. His experience in his life gave a big influence on his
character. Shoko were able to be independent in his life, mature, and he could
reach his freedom to success.
Through the
result of this research, it is suggested that by having read the novel Yakuza
Moon by Shoko Tendo, we can take a wisdom about how important a family is,
especially in terms of creating a good communication within a family. As well
as for teenagers, it is important to be careful in deciding what to do in life,
and be good at making companionship, and also never ignore the importance of a
family in life.
